Gordon's on the Green in Tukwila first opened their doors in 2004. A sophisticated-casual, rustic and cozy yet lively atmosphere, the restaurant features expansive dining room seating, sports bar, banquet and meeting facilities and is located on Tukwila's Foster Golf Links off of Interurban Avenue.

Gordon and Kathy Harris bring the expertise of their 60 combined successful years in the restaurant industry to the creation and operation of Gordon's on the Green catering to patrons of all ages because of their child friendly atmosphere and superior customer service.

Gordon Harris - Owner
Gordon has a 30-year record of successful development, operations and management experience in the hospitality and restaurant industry. His broad background includes consulting work for Caesar's Palace and Harvey's Inn, Lake Tahoe - developing menus and a cohesive staff for new hotel restaurant concepts. He served as Executive Chef for the Sheraton Spokane and at Seattle's The Edgewater Inn. Gordon consulted in the 1985 opening of the restaurants for the Coeur d"Alene Resort Hotel and Convention Center.As Chief Stweard at America Seafood's, he oversaw menu development, budgets, training and procurement. Kathy Harris - Controller/Owner
Kathy brings her own 30-year track record in restaurant development, front-end operations and management experience to Gordon's on the Green. Her background includes service at Harvey's Hotel and Casino, Lake Tahoe where she worked up through the ranks to lead server in the white-table cloth, fine dining venues. Kathy joined with Gordon in consulting work for Caesar's Palace and Harvey's Inn, Lake Tahoe - developing menus and a cohesive staff for new hotel restaurant concepts. She managed the Zephyr Cove Resort restaurant at Lake Tahoe and the Skyroom restaurant at the Lake Tahoe airport.

Tom Patterson - Executive Chef
As a 16 year old growing up in Spokane I was looking to earn some spending money and took a job in a Mexican restaurant. Never did I imagine that 30 years later I would still be working in the hospitality industry. I advanced my way up the ladder in private clubs and major hotels (where I first met Gordon & Kathy Harris) and eventually moved to Seattle to further my career. I found myself as Chief Steward on large factory trawlers that traveled to Japan, Hong Kong, the Okhosk Sea in Russia and the icy waters of the Behring Sea. Gordon approached me with his “dream” and talked me in to coming back to the “beach”. I’ve been here since the day we opened and I welcome you to come on down to the restaurant and experience what has made the food and atmosphere at Gordy’s so popular.

Debbie Barrientes - Assistant General Manager
At 15 years old I took my first job working at the concessions counter at a roller rink in White Center. It has been an interesting ride ever since. I worked at the Sea Galley in West Seattle for 4 years and at SeaTac Airport for 5 years serving and bartending. I worked for a food brokerage firm and I’ve done some property management work. I managed the bar at Torero’s in Factoria for several years before taking a break from the biz to start a plumbing company with my husband Carlos. I got back into the biz at Gordy’s as a part-time bartender. Then I became full-time and now I run the office too. I’m very proud of what we offer here at the “Debbie’s on the Green”. I’ve lived here in Tukwila for 10 years and it’s exciting to be a part of a local business that has seen tremendous growth in the short time.
