Everyone LOVED it.  It was a great setting for such a… difficult to talk about and listen to meeting.  (A torch was passed-so to speak).  But everything was wonderful.  Food was great, Jessie was wonderful.  It went a lot smoother than I was expecting.  And I have heard nothing but good things.  And from the looks of it, we won’t just stay a new customer! Our CFO really liked the place, and insisted we do something there again.  Not sure what yet, but I will definitely let you know!

On behalf of the Foster High School Class of ’86, I wanted to thank you for going above and beyond in accommodating our class for our Twenty Year Reunion June 17th.
Everyone and I mean everyone had fun. The environment was so relaxed. The food was incredible and the night was perfect. The class went on and on about how much fun they had. You guys really are the best in Washington. I will recommend Gordy’s to every class.
Jillian, you were so helpful. You made the planning and the night effortless. I couldn’t recommend you more. Our class was a little mellowed from our hard night Friday but I felt that you were prepared to completely handle us. You have a knack for detail and planning.
Sue, you did an incredible job. You even went out of your way to help us when we were sitting in the bar planning things a few weeks earlier. I like the way you run things – it is very relaxed and fun. We had a blast. And thank you so much for letting us take the music right up to 2:00 AM. That was so cool. You rule!
Carolyn, great job bartending. I was hoping to put you through a harder time, but we were all a little hung over.
Ashley, great job with the buffet.

Dear Jillian and Gordy,
We want to think each of you profusely for all of your support and guidance as we planned our 25th anniversary party. Thanks to you, it was a total success. Your employees were friendly, helpful and competent – even suggesting improvements to the party as it went along. A small open bar offered by Carol provided the rush on Jack Daniel’s we warned her about.
And the food!!! Did we ever have effusive compliments from our guests’. Sometimes we even thought the food was a better draw than we were! Especially commented on were the salmon, stuffed mushrooms and prime rib – all of which we agreed with. The only problem was that Sandra didn’t get to the buffet in time to sample the mushrooms, so they’re on her agenda for our next visit.
The previous evening, we went to the 40th reunion of one of Sandra’s early high school classes when she first started teaching in Bellevue. The Red Lion prime rib was a mere shadow of what you served us. When restaurateurs like Chuck Winn get in line for seconds, you know it’s good.
As you know, we’ve been savoring Gordy’s food for several years at both sites and recommending them to our friends and relatives, so we were comfortable choosing the Foster site for our big party. Nothing fell short of our expectations.
So, many thanks for everything – and look forward to visits from our guests.

My name is Minty Jeffrey, and I am one of the co-owners of ColorsNW and we absolutely were so thrilled with the service and substance of our experience at Gordy’s for our holiday staff gathering.
With Ms. Sue at the helm, we were delighted to find that our arriving early was absolutely unnecessary. She had everything ready, in place, and perfect. We are rather “high maintenance” sometimes, and I must say that once in a blue moon, when an organization finds an employee of such high value and skill, it is imperative that recipients of that service make sure we share that with the organization’s leadership.
You have definitely “hit the jackpot” in having Sue as part of your team. She was welcoming, informed, and one step ahead of us all evening. She was attentive, professional, and thoughtful.
Specifically because of our experience with Ms. Sue, and with the assumption that Gordy’s is wise enough to keep such a rare find, please know we will look forward to further events and activities under her leadership with your facility.
