Banquet and Private Dining Contract / Information

RESERVATIONS

A Banquet or Private Dining reservation will be held for seven (7) days on a first come, first serve basis.  Receipt of a signed contract and deposit will secure the date(s).  All reservations are released if a confirmation, deposit and contract are not returned within seven (7) days of making the tentative reservation. 

DEPOSITS & CANCELLATIONS

A deposit is required to confirm your reservation in the amount of 25% of the total cost of the function.  The deposit is refundable in full up to thirty (30) days in advance of the reserved date, and will be deducted from the balance due at the conclusion of the event.  If you cancel less than 30 days prior to your event, your deposit is non-refundable.  If you cancel less than 48 hours prior to your event, you will be charged 100% of your total bill.

This agreement is void if it cannot be performed due to any “Act of God” or cause beyond Gordon's control.  If food or services specified cannot be furnished due to such circumstances, at Gordon's sole discretion, other food and services may be substituted at prices ordinarily charged for them, but not in excess of the agreed upon price. 

 

GUARANTEES & MINIMUMS

Gordon's requires a minimum of 15 people to reserve a banquet room, and a food minimum of $10 per person.  This minimum does not include 9.3% sales tax, 20% gratuity, service charges (room and labor), or any special arrangements.  For groups under the 15 reservation minimum, we do add a $50 service charge.

The final menu needs to be in to the Events Coordinator 2 weeks prior to your event. A guaranteed minimum head count and entrée choice if applicable is required by noon three (3) business days prior to your event date.  If a guarantee is not received within this period, the most recent number of guests specified will be the guarantee. If fewer guests attend your event than the guaranteed final head count, you are still responsible for all charges. If the menu includes a choice of entrée, the Events Coordinator must be advised of the exact number of each entrée at this time. We will do our best to accommodate guests above and beyond your count, however the choice of entrée will depend upon availability and appropriate charges will be applicable.

Any “special” arrangements made through Gordon's (i.e., floral, audio-visual equipment, specialty cakes, etc.) must be paid for in full at the conclusion of the event.  Payment is nonrefundable if contracted services cannot be canceled.  Gordon's is not responsible for loss or damage to any property brought into or left in the restaurant/banquet rooms by any organization or its guests.

One banquet room is $50 per hour per room.  If we combine the two inside rooms to accommodate your function the room charge is $100 per hour.  Our pavilion is considered a separate room, and will be charged at $50 per hour.  Both banquet rooms and the pavilion can be reserved together for $150 per hour.

All parties are booked in time increments.  If there is no event booked after your event in the space, you may extend your event at a cost of $100 per hour.  These arrangements are made on a case by case basis, and need to be discussed with the Lead Staff on premise for your event.

MENU SELECTION / SERVICE / PAYMENT

Menu prices are subject to change.  With a signed contract and 25% deposit on the total price, menu prices will be honored.  We strive to accommodate our guest’s requests, your additions or substitutions may require additional costs.

Menu selection must be confirmed two (2) weeks prior to your event date.  No food or beverage may be consumed in the restaurant other than provided by Gordon's (with the exception of cakes for special events).  Due to health code regulations and insurance liabilities, food may not be removed from the facilities. This policy applies to all perishable food, including entrées for guaranteed guests unable to attend. The Washington State Liquor Control Board regulates the service and sale of alcoholic beverages. As a licensee, Gordon’s is responsible for the administration of these regulations. Therefore, no alcoholic beverages may be brought in or removed from the event space.

All food and beverage is subject to 20% gratuity and applicable sales tax.  Payment in full is due upon completion of the event.

Tax exempt organizations must furnish a certificate of exemption to the restaurant in advance of the event.

 

ADDITIONAL SERVICES OFFERED

Audio-Visual Equipment: We can and will supply audio visual equipment for a fee.  All AV rentals need 48 hours advanced notice for cancellation. Our rooms are equipped with free WIFI access. If you require conference call capabilities, please inquire with the Events Coordinator.

Décor: Please check with your Events Coordinator before purchasing and/or affixing any decorations. We are more than happy to accommodate special requests for flowers and additional decorations, at additional charges.  Subject to event scheduling, by arrangement only, we do allow our guests into the banquet room prior to a scheduled event. We do not allow confetti, flower petals, rice, silly string, or other things of this nature. Please do not tape, nail or wire anything to walls, floors, ceilings, etc. Any damages to the premises or equipment of Gordon’s will be charged to the host responsible for the event. Charges for additional cleanup or damages will be assessed to the final billing if these requirements are not honored. We do decorate Gordon's during the holiday season.  Initial [_____]

Music:  We at Gordon's have several options for live music. If you have a group you would like to book for your event, we reserve the right to control volume and content of the music performed.  Any music booked on the Pavilion must cease at 11:00 PM in accordance with Tukwila Noise Ordinance. The banquet rooms are equipped with a stereo system; please inquire about options with your Events Coordinator.

Rentals:  Gordon's can rent a wide variety of items required for your event.  All rental charges will have a 10% surcharge added to your bill.

Wedding Ceremonies:  Gordon's offers a pavilion area that is suitable for ceremonies for fewer than 100 guests. It is available at a starting rental price of $350. This is to include the room, set-up, chairs, a runner, and staffing. Other charges may be incurred depending on size of ceremony, time and date.

Wedding Cakes and Specialty Cakes:  Gordon's does not offer wedding cakes or specialty cakes.  We are more than happy to recommend a licensed bakery at your request, or we can order a cake from our purveyors to your specifications.  If you would like to provide your own cake, Gordon's staff will plate and serve your cake at a $1.00 per plate charge.

OFF-PREMISE CATERING
Off-site catering differs in menu pricing and service charges.  We would be more than happy to review menu options and considerations for your next event! We do require one week notice for all off-premise events. We do offer catering for pick-up.

 

AREAS OF RENTAL
The Fosters Links Golf Course is a separate entity, and for the safety of your guests and proper flow of golfers playing golf, guests and photographs are not permitted on the course. Please see your Event Coordinator as to areas safe and allowed for photographs. As a multi use establishment, we ask that our banquet guests respect the other rooms and areas outside of the space you have rented.  Guests of Gordon's cannot be on the greens or the golf course at any time, unless scheduled through the pro shop. Non-Payment
Under Washington Law, any person who willfully obtains food or beverage at a restaurant without paying, with intent to defraud the proprietor, is guilty of a crime.  In the event of non-payment, Gordon's will enforce its full legal remedies in accordance with applicable laws.

Gordon's On The Green sits on the beautifully landscaped Foster Golf Links. Its string of modest par-four holes won't frustrate even the most inexperienced golfer. Two trickier holes and a sturdy bridge cross the Duwamish Slough ont he back nine.
